About this role
PHP, Mobile App Development, Android, MySQL, Kotlin, API, LAMP, CI/CD · My web platform and its companion Android app are already in production, but they both need steady upkeep so users enjoy a smooth, reliable experience. I’m looking for a developer who can step in, take ownership of the codebase, and keep everything humming.
Primary focus • Investigate and resolve the display glitches, functional errors, and occasional crashes users are reporting. • Optimise performance on both the server side and inside the Android client so page loads, API calls, and in-app navigation feel snappy again. • Tidy up and future-proof the backend: refactor brittle sections, close security loopholes, and make sure endpoints remain compatible with new Android releases.
Typical workflow I’ll provide access to the repositories (web and Android), staging servers, and the current issue tracker. You’ll pick items off the board, patch them, push to a feature branch, and open a pull request. Once tests pass and the staging build is clean, I’ll sign off and we’ll deploy.
