About this role
PHP, Website Design, eCommerce, HTML, Web Development, Payment Gateway Integration, Frontend Development, Database Management · I’m looking for a developer who can take my idea for an online store and turn it into a fully-functioning web application. The focus is squarely on software development—design flair is welcome, but clean, reliable code that powers a smooth shopping experience is what I need most.
Core scope • Build a secure, responsive e-commerce site that runs in the browser • Implement essential store features: product catalogue, cart, checkout, order tracking and basic admin panel • Integrate payment gateway and set up database for inventory and customer data • Ensure the codebase is easy to maintain and ready for future feature additions
Acceptance criteria The site should load quickly on modern browsers, complete real test purchases without errors, and let me add or edit products from the admin area without touching code.
