About this role
JavaScript, Website Design, CSS, User Interface / IA, HTML, Web Development, Frontend Development, Web Application · I’m planning to add a fully-functioning calculator to my website and need someone who can take the idea from concept to live deployment. The exact style—whether a straightforward arithmetic tool, a more advanced scientific layout, or something totally custom-fit to my content—can be decided together once you understand my goals.
What matters most is that the calculator looks seamless within the current page design, works perfectly on desktop and mobile, and is delivered with clean, well-documented HTML/CSS/JavaScript (or a lightweight framework such as React if it truly helps).
You’ll be responsible for: • Discussing the site’s purpose with me and recommending the best calculator format • Designing an intuitive UI that matches my existing branding • Coding, testing, and embedding the calculator on the live site • Handing over source files plus a brief setup guide so I can maintain it later
If you think features like user log-ins, graphs, or exported reports would add value, I’m open to suggestions—but they’re optional for this first release. Let me know your approach, estimated timeline, and any similar work you’ve completed.
