Weekly WordPress Site Maintenance & Compliance

PHP, WordPress, CSS, HTML, Web Development, Web Design, Accessibility, Web Testing · Each week I need my WordPress site kept in peak shape. You will first create a full off-site backup, then run all available core, theme and plugin updates—testing afterwards so nothing breaks. Once everything is current, run a full-depth malware scan and remove or quarantine anything suspicious. A basic accessibility compliance check must follow to confirm WCAG fundamentals are still met, with any issues documented. Finally, open the front-end on desktop, tablet and mobile to be sure layout and critical functions behave as expected. By every Friday I expect a concise email summarising: • backup confirmation and storage location • items updated (versions before/after) • malware scan results and actions taken • accessibility notes • cross-device spot-check observations Please be comfortable using common WordPress maintenance tools such as UpdraftPlus (or similar), Wordfence, WP-CLI, and browser dev tools for quick accessibility verification. I value proactive suggestions, but reliability and clear weekly communication are paramount.
